Dr. Ailena Baum

Dr. Ailena Baum graduated with Phi Zeta Kappa honors from the UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Animal Welfare and Behavior. Dr. Baum grew up on a dairy farm in Northern Wisconsin, where her passion for animal care began. After graduation, she spent a summer as a volunteer veterinarian in McLeod Ganj, India, before accepting a full-time position at a veterinary practice in Northern Wisconsin. In addition to providing routine medical care, Dr. Baum is skilled in general soft tissue surgery and regularly performs both routine and emergency surgical procedures. She also has a lifelong passion for dog-powered sports and is dedicated to helping her canine companions reach their full athletic potential.
